I use pastels and gouache—a flexible type of paint that behaves much like watercolour, although it can be opaque and thus 100% saturated. It dries to a matte finish. It can be applied to fired ceramics.
My styles are varied because I use unusual techniques. Some use spray paint as as top layer. Some use metallic paints and were painted in collaboration with my son when he was aged 10-11. Some canvases are left intentionally in the rain to allow nature to do her thing.
